Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Manhasset Public Library is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to enhance the community with library programs that encourage activities and education relating to the arts. It is the goal of the Friends to solicit and raise funds to provide the library with needed materials, equipment and programs that are not included in the library’s operating budget.
The Friends is a group of volunteers interested in supporting the library and creating public interest in the programs and facilities of the library. The Friends have a Board of Manhasset residents and meet regularly in the conference room of the library. If you would like to become a member of the Friends Board please contact us at 516-627-2300, Ext. 401.
